You will be given an inventory form when you collect your keys for you to fill out as soon as you get to your property.
Detail
You need to note down as much detail as possible about the condition and cleanliness of the property and the furniture as you find it. This is important as we will use the information contained in the Inventory to help us determine when you move out whether anything has been damaged during your Tenancy. Photographs
We would also suggest you take detailed photographs of the property, paying special attention to any existing marks or wear-and-tear so that you have a record of what the property looked like when you moved in. If you email the photos to us at letting@samproperties.co.uk as soon as possible after you move in then we will also have a dated record of these,
Return Within 7 Days
You need to complete the inventory on the day of moving into your property and return it to our office within 7 days. If we do not receive the inventory within this period, you will be automatically agreeing to the inventory that the maintenance department completed prior to your move in date. We will contact you to address any issues that may arise from your assessment.
Contact Us
We take photographs of all our properties between Tenancies and we carry our cleaning and repairs where necessary. If something is below the standard you would expect when you move in, please inform us immediately and we will do what we can to put it right.
