Available Payment Methods

Rental Payments

Whether you pay rent Monthly or Quarterly, Rent MUST be paid by Standing Order (please see here for more details) direct from your bank account to ours. This is to ensure that rent is always paid on time and in full and there is no chance of you forgetting or making mistakes when paying us.

All Other Payments

We have several payment methods available for those occasions when you may need to make payments to us:

  • Debit Card – We accept Debit Cards by chip and pin at our office or payments can be made over the phone on 0161 610 8383. There is no charge for Debit Card payments.
  • Credit Card – We accept Credit Card by chip and pin at our office or payments can be made over the phone on 0161 610 8383. There is a 3% charge for Credit Card payments.
  • Cash – We accept cash payments at our office, although we recommend that if you need to make large payments to us you choose a different payment method to avoid having to carry large amounts of cash on your person.
  • Cheque – We accept payments by cheque in most circumstances, please check with us beforehand to make sure it is OK. Cheques should be made out to ‘Sam Properties [Withington] Ltd.‘ Usually we will only refuse a payment by cheque if there are time constraints (it takes at least 7 working days for cheques to clear).
  • Bank Transfer – We can accept payment by bank transfer, our bank details can be found below. When sending money to us by bank transfer please include a payment reference so we can identify it in our account. The payment reference should indicate your property’s address, for example if you lived at our office address at ‘Flat X, 433 Wilmslow Road’ the payment reference would be ‘433WRFX’ (the ‘F’ stands for ‘Flat’).

  • Overseas Bank Transfer – We can accept payments from overseas banks. Please be aware that your bank will charge you for an overseas transfer so you need to remember to either arrange this with them beforehand or factor it into the payment amount to avoid a shortfall when the money reaches us. Please see above for details of the payment reference you should use for your overseas bank transfer.
